LOOK AND FEEL

The ANCEL BM700 scanner for BMW vehicles is a stylish, sleek scanner that looks great. Its design is easy to grip, and its small size means that it can be placed under the steering wheel to look at the car's computer.

It also has a really cool blue finish, which stands out from the many other black and white scanners available. The extra scanning speed, sharp display and ease of use make it a more convenient scanner to use than most others, and this is especially true if you plan to also scan all your other cars.

The scanner for BMW models is a bit different than the others built into the ANCEL platform, and this has its benefits.

CONNECTIVITY

Once you scan the car's computer, you can connect the scanner to a PC through a USB cable, for further diagnostic tests, or to control the scanner using the standard buttons of the BM700.

These controls include the following:

  • Battery Status
  • Engine Starting Brakes
  • Power Train Manual Transmission
  • The audio system
  • The power supply
  • Step-by-step diagnostics
  • Plus more

The battery status function of the scanner indicates whether the battery is charging, fully charged, or completely discharged. This feature lets you know whether you have time to visit the garage for a servicing job.

A similar function detects whether your engine is on or off, and, when it detects that it's turned on, it signals that the car is ready to be started.

FUNCTIONALITY

The BM700 diagnostic scanner can scan the car's computer using three different parameters: voltage, temperature and current. There are more than 10 different diagnostic scan types available in the scanner, and the results from the scan can be saved onto the SD card to help with troubleshooting in the future.

The scanner can be set to scan and display on the LCD screen or even printed out if needed, depending on your car model. The LCD screen scan results include real-time testing and specifications and the printed screen results include external tests and more detailed information.

The scanner can be connected by a micro USB cable to a Microsoft PC and does not require any drivers. It scans the vehicle's computer in less than a minute and offers two hours of scanning time.

Conclusion

One of the main features of the ANCEL BM700 diagnostic scanner for BMW is the fact that it works for a wide range of cars, from BMW to various other brands. The car diagnostics scan can tell you if there are problems with your car that you can't see on the exterior, such as loose wires or an open computer port.

The scanner also comes with a built-in intelligent OBD II code reader, which can help you determine what faults are present and what needs to be fixed. This device can be used on the car's computer for diagnostic checks as well, and it has a motorized flip flap display that can be adjusted to fit the user's needs.

The ANCEL BM700 scanner is easy to operate and is compatible with many of the car's versions, including the BMW 320d and 350d, BMW 520d, X5 xDrive40i, X6 M40i, and so on.

When it’s all said and done, this is one great scanner and we highly recommend it!
